Practise for the KNM exam

KNM means Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij: knowledge of Dutch society. It is a separate exam of the civic integration (inburgering).

KNM is not a language exam, so there is no level A1, A2 or B1. You show what you know about life in the Netherlands. For example work, housing, health care, school and the rules.

You take the exam on a computer and it takes 45 minutes. The questions are about themes, such as housing or work and income. Here you practise with questions in simple Dutch.

    Vanaf welke leeftijd heb je recht op het wettelijk minimumloon?

    Explanation: Werknemers vanaf 21 jaar hebben recht op het wettelijk minimumloon. Voor jongere werknemers is er het minimumjeugdloon.

    Je hebt een afspraak bij de huisarts, maar je kunt niet komen. Wat doe je?
